Rishi Rajan joined Vest in April 2023 and serves as senior vice president of product development. He is focused on developing new investment products and strategies, and is responsible for product research, design and structuring. He works closely with the sales team and external partners to originate and develop innovative investment solutions.
Mr. Rajan has over 13 years of experience in derivative-based investment strategy design and trading at UBS and Barclays in New York. Prior to joining Vest, Mr. Rajan was an executive director and the head of public distribution at UBS. His responsibilities included cross-asset product development, capital markets, and marketing strategy for listed notes and funds. Prior to UBS, Mr. Rajan led the listed product origination and structuring efforts for the cross-asset solutions business at Barclays. Prior to Barclays, Mr. Rajan spent six years as a technology consultant at Sapient Corporation, working with large energy producers and utilities to design and implement market risk management solutions.
Mr. Rajan holds a master of business administration degree in energy finance from the University of Texas at Austin, and a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay.
